The three major U.S. stock indices open higher collectively, Nasdaq rises over 1%
The Dow Jones opened up 0.49%, the S&P 500 rose 0.64%, and the Nasdaq increased by 1.03%. Intel rose over 3%, Micron increased by more than 2%, and Nvidia and Qualcomm rose over 1%. It is reported that the Trump administration plans to lift the AI chip restrictions imposed during the Biden era. ARM fell over 5% as the company's performance guidance was below expectations.
