Reuters Survey: Over 60% of Economists Predict the Fed Will Cut Rates at Least Twice This Year

According to a Reuters survey: Out of 105 economists, 59 believe that the Federal Reserve will resume interest rate cuts in the next quarter (possibly in September), with over 60% predicting that the Fed will cut rates at least twice this year; surveyed economists expect the U.S. economy to grow by 1.4% in 2025 and 1.5% in 2026 (the same as the May forecast).
