Israeli Prime Minister: Israel Willing to Halt Actions if Iran Abandons Nuclear Program
On June 15 local time, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that if Iran accepts the U.S. demand to abandon its nuclear program, Israel is willing to halt its actions. He also said, "Once we eliminate these capabilities, all of this will end, and we are determined to do so." Netanyahu claimed that Israel has shared intelligence with the United States regarding Iran's development of nuclear weapons: "It is clear that they are formulating a secret plan to weaponize uranium. Their progress is very rapid. Within a few months, or even less than a year, they will be able to produce a test device, or possibly even an initial device. This is the intelligence we have shared with the United States." (Jin10)
