Starknet Completes Staking Migration and Launches Staking v2 on Mainnet
Starknet has announced that the migration of staking rights is now complete, staking operations have resumed, and the block proof and commission adjustment features are now live on the mainnet. This upgrade enhances the economic efficiency of STRK staking and brings greater transparency to validator behavior: it allows delegators to assess and compare validator activity and reliability before participating in Starknet consensus in the future (targeting EOY). The implementation of version 2 marks an important step toward full decentralization for Starknet, with version 3 potentially launching by the end of the year and introducing Bitcoin staking functionality to Starknet.
