Telegram founder faces renewed investigation by French authorities over allegations of illegal content on the platform
According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing AFP, Telegram founder Pavel Durov was questioned by a French investigative judge in Paris on July 28, marking his third such inquiry. French authorities allege that the Telegram platform hosts illegal activities, including illicit transactions and child pornography. Durov has denied these allegations, and his lawyer stated that Monday’s full-day questioning gave Durov the opportunity to provide further explanations to demonstrate that the facts under investigation are completely unfounded.
