Sequans Communications S.A. (NYSE: SQNS), a Bitcoin Treasury company and a provider of 5G/4G cellular semiconductor solutions, announced on August 4, 2025, the acquisition of an additional 85 bitcoins for approximately $10 million, at an average purchase price of $117,360 per bitcoin, including fees.
As of August 1, 2025, the company now holds a total of 3,157 bitcoins, with a total net investment of approximately $368.5 million, reflecting an average acquisition price of $116,708 per bitcoin. Sequans views bitcoin as a long-term investment and aims to strategically accumulate it as its primary treasury reserve asset, utilizing proceeds from equity and debt issuances, as well as cash generated from operations. Headquartered in France and operating globally, Sequans has offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Israel, Singapore, Finland, Taiwan, and China.
