According to reports from foreign media cited by Jinse Finance, advisors to Donald Trump are pushing for the appointment of interim Federal Reserve governors to fill vacancies. The candidates for the Federal Reserve Board are likely to have government work experience and must have previously undergone Senate vetting. Appointing interim Fed governors in the short term would give Trump more time to select a Federal Reserve Chair.
