Trump proudly donates his presidential salary, with the first payment going to White House renovations

US President Trump's latest post on social media: "I am proud to be the only president (perhaps except for the late great President Washington) to donate my salary. My first 'paycheck' was donated to the White House Historical Association for much-needed repairs to this beautiful 'People's House'. The White House is undergoing unprecedented major renovations and beautification projects since its construction."
