Scottish whisky maker Bowmore to launch tokenized limited edition whisky on Avalanche
According to a report by Crowdfundinsider, Bowmore, the Scottish whisky producer, has announced the launch of a tokenized limited edition whisky on the Avalanche blockchain. The initial batch of "Collector's Edition" bottles is priced at $5,500 each, with every bottle linked to a non-fungible token (NFT). Bowmore is part of the Suntory Global Spirits Group and is one of Scotland's oldest whisky distilleries. This digital initiative marks the brand's first foray into the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization space, aiming to offer collectors a new way to engage with the brand.
