Michael Feroli, an economist at JPMorgan Chase, predicts that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by 25 basis points next week. He sees two or three dissenters in favor of a larger rate cut, but no one in favor of keeping rates unchanged. The dot plot is expected to still show one more rate cut after 2025.
