Nordea, a Nordic bank, will offer Bitcoin ETP products and plans to launch CoinShares' Bitcoin ETP in December.
Foresight News reported that Nordic bank Nordea Bank AB has announced it will offer customers exchange-traded products (ETPs) tracking bitcoin. Nordea has previously maintained a cautious stance toward cryptocurrencies, stating that as the European crypto regulatory environment matures and demand for virtual and cryptocurrencies continues to grow in the Nordic region, it has decided to allow customers to trade crypto-related products on its platform. Nordea will allow customers to trade a crypto-related product developed by an external company on its platform. This new product, developed by CoinShares, will be launched on the Nordea Bank platform in December 2025. The product is a so-called synthetic ETP, with bitcoin as the underlying asset, targeting experienced investors seeking alternative asset allocation.
