GoPlus: Web3 security incidents in October caused losses exceeding $45.84 million
Jinse Finance reported that, according to GoPlus monitoring, Web3 suffered total losses of over $45.84 million in October due to security incidents such as smart contract vulnerabilities, social engineering attacks, phishing attacks, Ponzi schemes, and Rugpulls. Among them: ·GMGN users were targeted by phishing attacks, where attackers forged third-party token websites to induce unauthorized transactions, resulting in losses of over $700,000 for 107 users; ·A Twitter account, once followed by KOLs such as CZ, was renamed @OracleBNB, impersonated a token launch in cooperation with @four_meme_, and then executed a RUG to profit 34 BNB.
