Elite Cars in France Can Now Be Purchased With Crypto
Porsche and Lamborghini dealerships in France enabled crypto payments by integrating the Tezos-based payment infrastructure from FinTech company Lyzi.
Porsche Centre Montpellier and Lamborghini Bordeaux announced support for crypto transactions. Buyers can now purchase high-end vehicles using BTC, Tezos (XTZ), the stablecoins EURC and USDC, as well as more than 80 other cryptocurrencies.
This became possible through Lyzi’s payment service, which processes transactions with instant conversion to euros. The system removes price volatility risk for dealerships while allowing customers to pay directly from their crypto wallets.
Jean-Pierre Launay, Director of Porsche Centre Montpellier, said the new payment option targets clients who expect both advanced technology and premium service. He noted that the integration blends innovation with a streamlined buying experience. Thomas Hecquet, Director of Lamborghini Centre Bordeaux, added that crypto payments are a natural extension of the brand’s focus on exclusivity and digital convenience.
In 2023, Porsche released a successful NFT collection that reached over $5 million in trading volume at its peak.
