About $7 million in funds suspected to be involved in a "pig-butchering scam" have been cross-chain transferred from TRON to Ethereum
According to ChainCatcher, as monitored by Specter, a wallet has transferred $7 million from multiple wallets on the TRON chain to Ethereum via cross-chain transactions. Fund tracing indicates that these funds are suspected to originate from a cryptocurrency "pig-butchering" investment scam. This conclusion is based on the involved blockchains and services used. Of these funds, $3.1 million has already been deposited into Tornado Cash.
