Manufacturing Sector Sees Continued Decline in December
According to the latest ISM® Manufacturing PMI® Report, the manufacturing industry experienced its tenth straight month of reduced activity in December. This follows a brief two-month period of growth that came after 26 months of ongoing contraction. The report, released by Susan Spence, MBA, Chair of the Institute for Supply Management® Manufacturing Business Survey Committee, revealed that the Manufacturing PMI® dropped to 47.9 percent in December.
