PANews, January 6 – The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 685.28 points, or 1.32%, at 52,518.08 points on Tuesday, January 6, reaching a record closing high, with financial stocks leading the gains. The Korea KOSPI Index closed up 67.87 points, or 1.52%, at 4,525.39 points on Tuesday, January 6, surpassing the 4,500-point mark for the first time today.
