Fusion: Specific legacy vaults lost $336,000 due to a vulnerability, DAO will fully compensate affected users
Foresight News reported that Fusion has released a security update: the IPOR USDC Fusion Optimizer has an Arbitrum Vault vulnerability. The IPOR team was notified on January 6 and discovered a vulnerability that resulted in a loss of $336,000 USDC. The exploit targeted a specific older version of the Fusion Vault. Due to its unique configuration, this is the only vault susceptible to this particular attack vector. The loss accounts for less than 1% of the total funds secured by Fusion. Fusion is working with Security Alliance to track and recover the funds. IPOR DAO will cover the shortfall from the treasury. All affected depositors will be fully compensated.
