Short line railway operator introduces new transloading service at PNW airport

Jaguar Transport Partners with Spokane International Airport for New Transload Facility

Jaguar Transport Holdings, LLC has entered into a collaboration with Spokane International Airport in Washington to establish a new transloading center.

This facility will be operated by Jaguar’s Washington Eastern Railroad, which connects with BNSF Railway and the broader national rail system, according to a LinkedIn update from Jaguar Vice President Chris Richter.

The BNSF-Certified location includes 10,000 feet of rail—comprising two tracks for loading and one for running—spread across seven paved acres. The site also features a dedicated area for bulk liquid transloading equipped with spill containment measures. Additionally, it has been designated as a Foreign Trade Zone and is situated just two miles from both Interstate 90 and the airport.

This transload hub is equipped to manage a wide variety of cargo, including aviation and biodiesel fuels, municipal solid waste, lumber, metals, vehicles, and liquefied petroleum gas.
