Midnight launches privacy-focused USD stablecoin ShieldUSD
ChainCatcher reported that data protection blockchain Midnight Network has officially announced that W3i Software has launched the privacy-focused USD stablecoin ShieldUSD for its platform. ShieldUSD is designed to support real-world payments and financial workflows (such as payroll, B2B settlements, and institutional-level DeFi transactions) while maintaining privacy.
Midnight stated that institutional users can cryptographically prove the validity and compliance of transactions when using ShieldUSD, without disclosing sensitive business or personal data.
