According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, foreign exchange strategist Audrey Freeman stated that as expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut begin to be questioned, the moderate CPI data in December has brought a welcome relief, indicating that it is still too early to abandon expectations of a dovish shift by the Federal Reserve this year. This also means that it may still be too early to give up on the bearish outlook for the US dollar driven by Federal Reserve rate cuts in 2026.
