The U.S. president has extended invitations to several global leaders to serve as founding members of the board, which is part of a 20-point initiative aimed at securing lasting peace and rebuilding Gaza after two years of conflict between Israel and Hamas.
This invitation to Putin comes as the United States continues its diplomatic efforts to resolve Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, which has persisted for nearly four years.
