SlowMist CISO: New Type of Attack Targeting Crypto Wallets Breaks Out on Snap Store
According to Odaily, SlowMist CISO 23pds posted on X, warning that Linux users should pay attention to a new type of attack emerging from the Snap Store. Hackers are setting up backdoors through expired domains to steal users' crypto assets. The tampered applications disguise themselves as well-known crypto wallets such as Exodus, Ledger Live, or Trust Wallet, luring users to enter their wallet recovery phrases, which leads to the theft of funds.
