The latest crypto market structure bill text from the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee failed to reach an agreement with the Democrats.
BlockBeats News, January 22, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett wrote that the additional two weeks of negotiations aimed at securing formal Democratic support have failed to yield results. The markup of the Senate Agriculture Committee's bill next week is expected to be partisan, which is not a positive sign for the Senate Banking Committee, which had hoped to advance its own review through bipartisan consensus.
She further stated that the Senate Agriculture Committee has released the latest version of the crypto market structure bill text. Committee Chairman John Boozman said that no agreement was reached with the Democrats, but he still looks forward to next week's review meeting. The meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
