U.S. stocks open higher, Dow Jones up 0.5%, Alibaba rises over 4% and plans for IPO
ChainCatcher News, according to Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%, the S&P 500 Index rose 0.65%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.95%. Alibaba rose more than 4% as the company plans to have its AI chip manufacturing unit "Pingtouge" go public. Procter & Gamble rose 1.8%, while Abbott dropped more than 10% as both its revenue and net profit shrank significantly.
