PANews January 28th news, according to Decrypt, a new report released by TRM Labs shows that the amount of illegal cryptocurrency activity will reach a record $158 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 145%. This surge is mainly driven by A7A5, a ruble-backed stablecoin linked to Russia. TRM stated that the rise of A7A5 indicates that sanctioned countries are moving away from the dollar-based payment system and turning to specialized crypto tools.
