Beacon Financial Corporation Announces Fourth-Quarter Earnings
Beacon Financial Corporation, headquartered in Boston, revealed on Wednesday that it achieved a net profit of $53.4 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $0.64 per share, which, after adjusting for one-time expenses, increased to $0.79 per share.
These results exceeded analysts’ predictions, as the consensus among four analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was $0.78 per share.
During the quarter, Beacon Financial generated $338.5 million in total revenue. However, revenue after accounting for interest expenses totaled $225.7 million, falling short of market expectations.
For the full year, the company posted a net income of $90.3 million, or $1.03 per share, with total revenue reaching $553 million.
Since the start of the year, Beacon’s stock price has climbed nearly 7%, outpacing the S&P 500’s gain of about 2%. As of the close of trading on Wednesday, shares were valued at $28.18, marking a decline of just over 2% over the past year.
