Show original
According to a report by Bijie Network: Apple has acquired Israeli artificial intelligence startup Q.AI for nearly $2 billion, marking its second-largest acquisition after Beats, with the aim of enhancing its audio and image processing capabilities. Q.AI's technology focuses on interpreting whispers and improving audio effects in noisy environments, which aligns with Apple's recent development of AI features for AirPods. The founding team, including CEO Aviad Maizels (who previously sold PrimeSense to Apple), will join Q.AI.
