AppFolio Announces Strong Fourth Quarter Results
AppFolio Inc., headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, revealed a net profit of $39.9 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $1.10 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding stock-based compensation and amortization—coming in at $1.39 per share.
These results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as the consensus among five analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had projected earnings of $1.22 per share.
AppFolio, known for its property management software, generated $248.2 million in revenue during the quarter, outperforming the $246.1 million anticipated by four Zacks analysts.
For the full year, AppFolio posted a profit of $140.9 million, or $3.88 per share, with total revenue reaching $950.8 million.
Looking ahead, the company forecasts annual revenue between $1.1 billion and $1.12 billion.
Since the start of the year, AppFolio’s stock has declined by 11%. At the close of trading on Thursday, shares were priced at $207.10, reflecting a 17% drop over the past year.
