Peter Schiff asks Michael Saylor about the source of funds for Strategy Preferred Stock dividend payments: "MSTR is operating at a loss"
Show original
According to CoinWorld, economist Peter Schiff questioned whether MicroStrategy can maintain the 11% dividend on its Bitcoin preferred stock (STRC), citing the company's current loss-making status. Previously, MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor had strongly promoted STRC, claiming its annual yield reached as high as 11% with much lower volatility than Class A shares or Bitcoin ETF. MicroStrategy's stock price has fallen by more than 5% so far this year and is currently trading below the value of its nearly $59 billions Bitcoin holdings. The company will release its fourth-quarter financial report next Thursday.
