Aon PLC Announces Fourth-Quarter Financial Results
Aon PLC, headquartered in Dublin, revealed a net profit of $1.69 billion for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $7.82 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time gains—coming in at $4.85 per share.
These adjusted earnings surpassed analysts’ predictions, as the consensus from nine Zacks Investment Research analysts was $4.76 per share.
Quarterly revenue reached $4.3 billion, which was slightly below the $4.38 billion anticipated by eight analysts surveyed by Zacks.
For the full year, Aon recorded a total profit of $3.7 billion, or $17.02 per share, with annual revenue totaling $17.18 billion.
Since the start of the year, Aon’s stock price has fallen by nearly 3%, while the S&P 500 index has gained almost 2%. Over the past year, Aon shares have dropped by 6.5%.
