Gelonghui, February 2nd|Oil prices fell by 5%, causing the stock prices of US energy companies to plunge in pre-market trading. Occidental Petroleum (OXY.US) dropped 3.1%, ConocoPhillips (COP.US) fell 2.6%, Halliburton (HAL.US) declined 4.1%, Schlumberger (SLB.US) decreased 2.9%, ExxonMobil (XOM.US) was down 1.5%, and Chevron (CVX.US) slipped 1.7%.
