Columbia Sportswear Surpasses Earnings Expectations in Fourth Quarter
Columbia Sportswear Co., headquartered in Portland, Oregon, announced a net income of $93.2 million for its fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $1.73 per share, outperforming the consensus estimate of $1.22 per share from four analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research.
Quarterly revenue reached $1.07 billion, also exceeding analysts’ projections of $1.04 billion.
For the full year, Columbia Sportswear recorded a total profit of $177.2 million, translating to $3.24 per share, with annual revenue amounting to $3.4 billion.
Looking ahead to the first quarter ending in March, the company anticipates revenue between $747 million and $759 million.
For the entire fiscal year, Columbia Sportswear projects earnings per share in the range of $3.20 to $3.65, with revenue expected to fall between $3.43 billion and $3.5 billion.
