Emerson Electric Announces First-Quarter Financial Results
Emerson Electric Co., headquartered in St. Louis, revealed on Tuesday that it achieved a net profit of $605 million for its fiscal first quarter.
The company reported earnings of $1.07 per share. After accounting for amortization and restructuring expenses, adjusted earnings reached $1.46 per share.
These adjusted results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of seven experts polled by Zacks Investment Research had predicted earnings of $1.41 per share.
Emerson, known for producing process control systems, valves, and analytical devices, generated $4.35 billion in revenue during the quarter, aligning with Wall Street projections.
Looking ahead to the quarter ending in March, Emerson anticipates earnings per share to fall between $1.50 and $1.55.
For the full fiscal year, the company projects earnings in the range of $6.40 to $6.55 per share.
