Timken Co. Exceeds Q4 Earnings Expectations
Timken Co., headquartered in North Canton, Ohio, announced a net income of $62.3 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $0.89 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding special items—reaching $1.14 per share.
These adjusted results outperformed analyst predictions, as the consensus among seven analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was $1.09 per share.
Timken, a manufacturer specializing in bearings and power transmission products, generated $1.11 billion in revenue for the quarter, surpassing the $1.08 billion anticipated by five Zacks analysts.
For the entire year, Timken recorded a profit of $288.4 million, or $4.11 per share, on total revenue of $4.58 billion.
Looking ahead, the company projects its full-year earnings to fall between $5.50 and $6.00 per share.
