IDEX Corp. Announces Strong Fourth Quarter Results
IDEX Corp., headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, revealed that its net income for the fourth quarter reached $128.3 million.
The company reported earnings of $1.71 per share, while adjusted earnings—excluding special items—were $2.10 per share.
These adjusted earnings surpassed analysts’ predictions, as the consensus from six Zacks Investment Research analysts had anticipated $2.04 per share.
IDEX, known for manufacturing the Jaws of Life and other specialized equipment, generated $899.1 million in revenue during the quarter, outperforming the $881.6 million estimate from four Zacks analysts.
For the full year, IDEX posted a profit of $483.2 million, or $6.41 per share, with total revenue amounting to $3.46 billion.
Outlook
Looking ahead to the first quarter ending in March, the company projects earnings per share between $1.73 and $1.78.
For the entire year, IDEX anticipates earnings per share to fall within the $8.15 to $8.35 range.
