Digi International Reports Strong First-Quarter Results
Digi International Inc., headquartered in Hopkins, Minnesota, announced its financial results for the fiscal first quarter on Wednesday, revealing a net profit of $11.7 million.
The company’s earnings translated to 31 cents per share. After accounting for special items, adjusted earnings reached 56 cents per share.
These figures surpassed analysts’ expectations, as the consensus from three Zacks Investment Research analysts had predicted earnings of 55 cents per share.
Digi International, known for its communication adapter solutions, generated $122.5 million in revenue during the quarter, outperforming the average analyst estimate of $115.7 million.
Outlook for the Next Quarter
Looking ahead to the quarter ending in March, Digi International anticipates earnings per share between 56 and 59 cents.
The company projects revenue for the fiscal second quarter to fall within the $124 million to $128 million range.
