Reddit sees AI search as its next major opportunity.

According to a report by Bijie Network: In its Q4 earnings call, Reddit emphasized that its AI search engine is a significant growth opportunity, noting that weekly active users for search have increased by 30% over the past year, reaching 80 million. CEO Steve Huffman stated that the platform excels at handling queries that require multi-perspective analysis, while generative AI search will be "better suited for most queries." The company is integrating its traditional search with the AI-powered feature Reddit Answers, whose weekly active users surged from 1 million in Q1 2025 to 15 million in Q4. Reddit also reported that its "other" revenue (including AI content licensing) grew 8% year-over-year in Q4, reaching $36 million.
