Under Armour Reports Third Quarter Financial Results
Under Armour Inc., headquartered in Baltimore, announced on Friday that it recorded a net loss of $430.8 million for its fiscal third quarter.
The company reported a per-share loss of $1.01. However, after adjusting for one-time items and pretax expenses, earnings stood at 9 cents per share.
These adjusted earnings surpassed analysts’ expectations. According to a survey by Zacks Investment Research, the consensus among 10 analysts was for a loss of 2 cents per share.
Under Armour’s revenue for the quarter reached $1.33 billion, outperforming projections. Eight analysts polled by Zacks had anticipated revenue of $1.31 billion.
Looking ahead, the sportswear brand forecasts its full-year earnings to fall between 10 and 11 cents per share.
