BlockBeats news, on February 8, Scam Sniffer released the January 2026 security report. In January, a user lost $12.25 million due to copying an incorrect address from a transaction record. In December last year, another victim lost $50 million for the same reason. In addition, signature-based phishing incidents surged in January, with a total of 4,741 victims losing $6.27 million, an increase of 207% compared to December last year.
