The French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) reminds that, according to the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), digital asset service providers operating in France must obtain authorization as crypto-asset service providers under MiCA no later than July 1, 2026, or they will not be allowed to continue providing services. Those who continue to operate without authorization will face up to two years in prison and a fine of 30,000 euros. The AMF may publish a blacklist and block related websites.
