General Motors poaches Lucid executive, appoints as Deputy CFO and Head of Strategy

Gelonghui, February 10th｜General Motors announced that it has appointed Claudia Gast as the company's Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Technology Partnerships. Gast's most recent position was Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at the electric vehicle startup Lucid Motors. Currently, many automakers are hiring executives from electric vehicle startups and technology companies to help the company cope with significant technological changes in the business, including electrification, autonomous driving, and software-centric vehicles.
