Copa Holdings Announces Fourth-Quarter Financial Results
Copa Holdings SA, headquartered in Panama City, revealed on Wednesday that it achieved a net profit of $172.6 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of $4.18 per share during this period.
These figures did not meet the expectations of Wall Street analysts, who, according to a survey by Zacks Investment Research, had anticipated earnings of $4.44 per share on average.
Additionally, Copa Holdings, which serves as the parent company of Panama’s national airline, generated $962.9 million in revenue for the quarter. This amount was slightly below the $967.6 million projected by five analysts polled by Zacks.
Looking at the full year, Copa Holdings posted a total profit of $671.6 million, or $16.28 per share, with annual revenue reaching $3.62 billion.
