SharpLink CEO: Ethereum's macro bullish factors are at their best point in its ten-and-a-half-year history
Foresight News on-site report: SharpLink CEO Joseph Chalom and Consensys founder Joseph Lubin, the parent company of MetaMask, shared their views on the prospects of Ethereum and the trend of tokenization at the Consensus 2026 conference. Joseph Chalom stated that Ethereum is currently experiencing the most favorable macro environment in its ten-and-a-half-year history, with the growth of stablecoins and RWA as the core driving forces. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink once pointed out that $14 trillion worth of assets will be tokenized, and currently, 65% of tokenization activities are happening on Ethereum. As a crypto treasury company, SharpLink holds billions of dollars worth of Ethereum, with almost 100% staked. The company is currently collaborating with EigenLayer, ether.fi, and others to launch liquid staking tokens.
Joseph Lubin stated that Ethereum is a productive asset, offering about a 3% "risk-free rate." Consensys is integrating treasury management, liquidity management, and transaction orchestration functions into a specific version of MetaMask, making it a new bank controlled by users.
