Bitcoin retreated to around $65,000 on Wednesday, nearly erasing the rebound that followed last week's cryptocurrency plunge. The sell-off in digital assets coincided with a broader pullback in the technology sector, particularly in software stocks that are highly correlated with Bitcoin. Gold and silver also dropped sharply in the afternoon, with silver turning from a slight gain earlier in the day to a 10% decline.
