Roku Announces Strong Fourth-Quarter Financial Results
Roku Inc., headquartered in San Jose, California, revealed on Thursday that it achieved a net income of $80.5 million for the fourth quarter.
The company reported earnings of 53 cents per share, exceeding analyst expectations.
According to Zacks Investment Research, which surveyed eight analysts, the consensus estimate for earnings was 28 cents per share, making Roku’s performance notably higher than anticipated.
Roku’s revenue for the quarter reached $1.39 billion, surpassing projections. Analysts had forecasted revenue of $1.35 billion for the period.
Looking at the full year, Roku posted a profit of $88.4 million, or 59 cents per share, with total revenue amounting to $4.74 billion.
For the upcoming quarter ending in March, Roku anticipates revenue to fall within the $1.2 billion range.
The company projects its total revenue for the year to reach approximately $5.5 billion.
