Fluor Corp. Reports Significant Fourth-Quarter Loss
Fluor Corp., headquartered in Irving, Texas, announced on Tuesday that it recorded a net loss of $1.57 billion during the fourth quarter.
The company reported a quarterly loss of $9.87 per share. When excluding one-time charges, adjusted earnings stood at 33 cents per share.
These results did not meet analyst expectations, as a consensus of three analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had forecasted earnings of 34 cents per share.
During the quarter, Fluor generated $4.18 billion in revenue from its engineering, construction, and operations services.
For the full year, Fluor posted a net loss of $51 million, translating to a loss of 31 cents per share, with total annual revenue reaching $15.5 billion.
