Soluna adds 6MW at Texas site
Soluna Holdings is expanding its partnership with Blockware by adding 6 megawatts of capacity at its Project Dorothy 1 site in West Texas.
The company said deployment began in January and is expected to be completed by the end of February, marking the third expansion between the two firms at the renewable-powered facility.
“Repeat expansions like this are a strong signal that our model is working,”
Said Soluna chief executive, John Belizaire, pointing to the scalability and reliability of the company’s infrastructure.
Project Dorothy operates as a behind-the-meter data centre designed to convert surplus renewable energy into computing power for Bitcoin mining, artificial intelligence workloads and high-performance computing.
Blockware chief executive Mason Jappa said dependable infrastructure and rapid deployment were key to continuing the partnership, emphasising operational consistency during growth phases.
Soluna said the incremental expansion supports disciplined capital deployment while enabling customer growth within an established footprint rather than launching new greenfield projects.
