On a per-share basis, the company recorded a loss of $0.10. When excluding certain one-time items, adjusted earnings reached $0.35 per share.
These adjusted earnings matched the consensus forecast from four analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research, who also projected $0.35 per share.
The software company generated $207.7 million in revenue during the quarter, exceeding analyst expectations of $207.2 million.
For the full year, Bandwidth reported a deeper net loss of $12.9 million, or $0.43 per share, with total revenue amounting to $753.8 million.
Outlook for the Next Quarter and Full Year
- For the first quarter ending in March, Bandwidth anticipates earnings per share between $0.30 and $0.32.
- Projected revenue for the first quarter is expected to fall between $200 million and $203 million.
- For the entire year, the company forecasts earnings per share in the range of $1.66 to $1.74, with revenue expected between $864 million and $884 million.
