Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 Index, the telecommunications sector closed up 2.65%, the consumer discretionary sector rose 1.27% ranking second, the information technology/technology sector increased by 0.58%, while the healthcare sector fell 0.32%, and the energy sector dropped 0.71%. In the S&P telecommunications sector, Google A closed up 4%, Google C rose more than 3.7% ranking as the top two gainers, and Meta increased by 1.69%.
