Renault Group has recently disclosed that the production line for its Trafic Van E-Tech all-electric commercial vehicle will be officially established at the Sandouville manufacturing plant in France by the end of 2026.

This strategic deployment marks a critical step for Renault in its electrification transformation process, aiming to strengthen its competitiveness in the European light commercial vehicle market. As an important production base of the Renault Group, the Sandouville plant will be responsible for assembling the electric version of the Trafic model in the future. The production of this model will further improve Renault's electrification layout of its commercial vehicle product line, responding to the growing demand for zero-emission commercial vehicles in the European market.
